My original post was mostly based on the fact that they failed to use the correct pronouns consistently, but have since changed that.
I also noticed you have absolutely nothing to say about this.
Or that other source you were looking for, about murder statistics. Look in the “Hate Violence” section, and see the first citation.
Or any of these statistics.

33.2% of transgender youth have attempted suicide. Clements-Nolle K., Marx R., Katz M. (2006). Attempted suicide among transgender persons: The influence of gender-based discrimination and victimization. Journal of Homosexuality, 51(3): 53-69.)
55% of transgender youth report being physically attacked. (GLSEN. (2003). The 2003 national school climate survey: the school related experiences of our nation’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youth.)
74% of transgender youth reported being sexually harassed at school, and 90% of transgender youth reported feeling unsafe at school because of their gender expression. (GLSEN. (2001). The 2001 national school climate survey: the school related experiences of our nation’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youth.)
In a survey of 403 transgender people, 78% reported having been verbally harassed and 48% reported having been victims of assault, including assault with a weapon, sexual assault or rape. (Wilchins, R., Lombardi, E., Priesing, D. and Malouf, D. (1997) First national survey of transgender violence. Gender Public Advocacy Coalition.)

So hey, when trans people stop being murdered, or denied care, simply on the basis they are trans, I’ll shut up. (In the second article - the Rape Relief centre will only provide resources to “women born women”, and they don’t plan on changing that.
Until then, maybe you’d like to work towards social equality instead of accepting things ‘as is’, and demonizing those who actually chose to fight this bullshit.

I’m not demonizing anything. I don’t even believe in demons. And I’m agnostic about izing. I didn’t have anything to say about the stuff you furnished above because I never saw it before. As I said last time we talked about this, I have never seen reliable statistics about any other this stuff. Everything I read seems to come from biased sources who have a vested interest in lying. I’m not sayign that they are lying, but I don’t buy trans stats from trans sources for the same reason that I don’t buy science stats from creationist sources—they are too biased towards a specific worldview. In other words, if there is motive to lie, I am innately distrustful.
However, those numbers do seem very disturbing. If anyone reading this has time, they should check out those statistics and inquire about the methodology used to acquire them. If the problem is that severe, then there is indeed something very and viciously wrong here. I personally have no problem with trans people and am finding it really difficult to believe that so many others do in this age and political climate. I have never met anyone with strong prejudice towards trans people, so my personal experience is conflicting with these stats. However, if that data is accurate, then I may have to accept that my perception of society’s attitude towards this matter is flawed.
